Brittany Murphy was an American actress and singer known for her roles in various films during the 1990s and 2000s. Born on November 10th, 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia, Murphy began her career in television and gained recognition for her performances in both comedies and dramas. Brittany Murphy gained early recognition for her role in the teen comedy "Clueless" in 1995, where she played the character Tai Frasier. Her performance in the film helped establish her as a talented and versatile actress. Murphy appeared in a range of films and later pursued a brief music career. She collaborated with Paul Oakenfold for the single "Faster Kill Pussycat," which gained popularity in the dance music scene. Murphy married British screenwriter Simon Monjack in 2007. On December 20th, 2009, Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32. The official cause of death was listed as pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication. Ironically, both Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack passed away in the same house within five months of each other.
