His breakthrough role came with the action film "Showdown in Little Tokyo" in 1991, where he starred alongside Dolph Lundgren. Brandon Lee's most famous role came in the 1994 film "The Crow," based on the comic book of the same name. On March 31st, 1993, Brandon Lee died during the filming of "The Crow" at the age of 28, while filming a scene involving the firing of a prop gun loaded with blanks. A fragment of a dummy bullet that was unintentionally lodged in the gun's barrel was discharged, striking Brandon Lee in the abdomen. Despite emergency surgery, Brandon Lee succumbed to his injuries and passed away in Wilmington, North Carolina.
