The idea that the Earth is flat is supposedly a long-discredited and scientifically inaccurate belief according to pundits. The constant propagating that there is overwhelming evidence from various fields of science, including astronomy, geology, and physics, just makes it appear more like a religion, that one is supposed to just trust the pseudoscience, instead of researching it on their own. People have also been conditioned to not be free thinkers, to not question or speak out against a narrative otherwise they’re labeled as “conspiracy theorists,” “flat earthers,” etc., creating a stigma. What we’ve been told over the years since our early development is that the Earth is an oblate spheroid – roughly spherical in shape with a slightly flattened bulge at the equator. We’ve been shown by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA, a myriad of satellite imagery and photographs taken from space. NASA has admitted that a variety of the images we have been shown of the Earth are computer generated. How can we really discern the difference let alone trust anything they say or provide? We’ve been told that the force of gravity, as explained by Sir Isaac Newton's law of universal gravitation and later refined by Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity, would not behave as it does if the Earth were flat. An eclipse is a shadow cast by the Earth on the moon during a lunar eclipse, which appears round, and that is also considered to the experts as clear evidence of a spherical Earth. The ability to presumably circumnavigate the Earth by traveling in one direction and returning to the starting point is a practical demonstration of the planet's spherical shape according to pundits. Experts argue that observing ships disappearing over what is known as the horizon, the way distant objects gradually become visible as you approach, and the supposed curvature of the horizon from an elevated position are consistent with a spherical Earth. In ancient Greece, Eratosthenes calculated the Earth's circumference by comparing the angles of the sun's rays at two different locations. His calculations were remarkably accurate and demonstrated a curved Earth. Observations from space missions, including those from astronauts, provide visual evidence of Earth's spherical shape. Despite what the general public has been shown and told, the belief in a flat Earth persists among a group of individuals who reject the science they’ve been spoon fed over the years. How can one be certain based on pseudoscience, that the Earth is a sphere corkscrewing through space at 1,000 mph and 66,000 mph respectively, if they have not been to outer space to have seen it for themselves?
