A DEEP DIVE INTO THE SELENA QUINTANILLA-PEREZ MURDER CASE – YOLANDA SALDIVAR THE NOT SO CUNNING EMBEZZLER

By Maverick

To review, if Yolanda Saldivar was embezzling all this money, why not pay off her debt? I mean, it’s possible she did once she got those two letters mentioned in the previous blog and had sufficient funds to pay it all off. You just can’t screw with the Attorney General and the IRS, so she must’ve settled whatever debt she had with the money she allegedly stole or made from working at the fan club and later on the Selena Etc. boutiques. It’s still unclear whether Yolanda was making money from running the fan club, so how was she making ends meet if she wasn’t earning an income? Wouldn’t that have made Abraham suspicious that she gave up her career as a registered nurse to take a job with little to no pay? She didn’t start making better money until she worked for Selena as her business assistant.

In an older interview with Abraham, he shows a letter from the San Antonio District Attorney’s office, sent to Yolanda Saldivar in May 1993, stating that she had committed a potential felony or misdemeanor by cashing the checks. Was that an indication that she was committing bank fraud? If so, then where the hell were the charges? How could someone commit bank fraud for nearly 4 years and then not have any appropriate penalties or charges brought against them? It doesn’t make any sense. In reality, she shouldn’t have been able to get away with this for so long, even long enough to where she was allowed to work for Selena in 1994-1995 and eventually kill her in March of 1995. It’s like Yolanda was miraculously untouchable until she pulled the trigger of that revolver to end Selena’s life.

I’m befuddled as to why Abraham never wanted to access the fan club checking account that Yolanda Saldivar opened in her sister’s name, by adding his name or Suzette’s, jointly on the account. He just seemed to do everything to avoid getting involved whenever it came to anything Yolanda Saldivar-related. Abraham himself couldn’t even give us a prepared, scripted answer to these questions and anomalies because these points were never addressed at all in his chronological version of events and were avoided like the plague. He would typically respond to critics by deflecting, saying, “You don’t know me or my family,” or “Who the hell are you to talk about what happened, you weren’t there.” Just more deflecting and seeking sympathy from everyone.
